Day Excursions

Alton Towers
Britain's biggest and best known theme park is a blast. The rides are legendary, with 'Nemesis', ’Air’, ’Ripsaw’ and' Oblivion' rivalling any in the world for white knuckle excitement. Rita - Queen of Speed, another addition to the park, hold onto your eyeballs as you're catapulted at tremendous speed, reaching 0 -100 in 2.5 seconds. You will come off tingling with excitement.
Children will delight at the chance to race dinosaurs in 'Ug Land'. And, if they survive that, the spooky chills of the 'Haunted House' and countless other treats make this a trip to remember. Less demanding activities include rowing on the boating lake, cable car rides above the magnificently landscaped gardens and the chance to relax in a choice of quality restaurants and cafes.
