Europe

This beautifully preserved Flemish gem is one of the prettiest medieval cities in Europe. Once a thriving port the prosperity of its merchants is evident in the handsome gabled houses, ornate guildhalls and majestic churches. Take a trip on the picturesque canals to experience the city's remarkable peace and calm or a ride along the narrow cobbled streets in a horse-drawn carriage, then savour the tiny lace parlours, chocolate boutiques and old curiosity shops of this delightful city, aptly dubbed the 'Venice of the North'.

Experience the magic as you step through the gates and see the magnificent Sleeping Beauty Castle, you’ll be enthralled by the Disneyland Park, the place where fairytales come to life! Enjoy the superb parades and shows, plus thrilling rides and attractions of the five distinctive lands. The Walt Disney Studios® Park is devoted to the secrets of animation where many of the attractions are interactive, see your favourite movie stars and watch the thrills of a live stunt show. Stroll through Disney Village, brimming with family entertainment and shopping opportunities.

Honfleur is one of Normany's most picturesque and well-preserved ports, set on the estuary of the River Seine in the Calvados region. Writers and artists have always been attracted to Honfleur, its light and ambience making it a favourite with many painters and the plethora of plaques in the town attest to its long association with notable people. The centre of attraction is the Vieux Bassin with its boats, quays and tall slate fronted waterside houses, plus the lively old streets lined with timber and stone houses. Also nearby is the church of St Catherine which was built by local ships carpenters, entirely from wood.

A superb Swiss Alpine holiday that includes a journey through the spectacular mountain region on board the world famous Glacier Express, probably the slowest “express” train ride in the world. A journey of unchallenged beauty with stunning views that simply cannot be seen from the road. We stay in two beautiful locations, firstly the alpine resort of Davos, Europe's largest mountain resort with a beautiful natural landscape, then on to Zermatt, a delightful resort with stunning views of the world famous Matterhorn. Zermatt is a real delight, enjoy the pure mountain air in this traffic-free environment where only electric powered vehicles are allowed.

One of Italy’s most thriving and popular coastal resorts, graced with miles of beautiful sandy beaches. The town has lovely tree-lined avenues, interspersed with colourful piazzas and there are a multitude of tempting shops, bars, cafes, pizzerias and restaurants. The magical city of Venice remains as serene and unique as ever. St. Marks and its world-famous square, the Doge’s Palace, the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal with its gondolas and water taxis. Enjoy included excursions to see Italian gems such as Padova, Verona and Lake Garda and the magnificent Dolomites.
