In rugby circles, the start of a new year is synonymous with the start of the RBS 6 Nations Championship, without doubt the most successful and most eagerly awaited annual rugby competition in the world. In 2008, Wales won their second Grand Slam and RBS 6 Nations title in 4 seasons after record breaker Shane Williams struck gold at the Millennium Stadium.
