Scotland

The stunning and unique scenery of the Northern Highlands is truly unforgettable, an area of lush green valleys, mystical lochs, towering mountains and picturesque coastlines. Our setting for exploring this beautiful area is the popular tourist town of Inverness, the bustling capital of the Highland region. The River Ness flows majestically through the centre of this attractive town which is overlooked by its dominating 19th century castle.

A delightful holiday to the heart of Scotland, based in the picturesque town of Pitlochry. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery in the heart of the Perthshire Highlands, Pitlochry has been a holiday resort since Victorian times. The town is well known for its Hydro Electric Dam and Fish Ladder, plus a unique choice of shops selling Scottish specialities.

In a delightful riverside setting at the foot of thickly wooded hills lies one of Perthshire's gems - the cathedral town of Dunkeld. On the opposite bank of the River Tay is the Victorian village of Birnam. Together their beautifully restored buildings and rich heritage are an inspiration for lovers of history, the arts and the great green outdoors. Stroll by the mighty River Tay and absorb the beautiful, natural scenery where some of Scotland’s finest trout and salmon fishing can be enjoyed and maybe cross Thomas Telford's Bridge, which leads to the village of Birnam.

Dinner on Sunday night will feature traditional Scottish Fayre with Pipers and a live Ceileidh band to start your holiday in true ‘Scottish style’

Find yourself in the midst of beautiful unspoilt scenery, where rugged coastlines brace themselves against the North Sea, and gentle rolling foothills run into the Cairngorms' eastern edge. At the mouth of the River Tay lies Dundee, a city that proudly remembers its seafaring and industrial heritage. Amongst the many attractions are the award winning Verdant Works, step back into a Time Capsule of yester-year and discover how the people of Dundee lived, worked and played over 100 years ago, then follow in the footsteps of Captain Scott and Ernest Shackleton aboard the RRS Discovery.

A new luxury break based in a Scottish Castle Hotel, set in 25 acres of gardens and woodlands at Eddleston, to the south of Edinburgh. In contrast to the rugged Highlands to the north, the Borders is an area of rich agricultural land with rolling green hills and moorland, valleys and rivers, picturesque villages, as well as the castles, abbeys, stately homes and museums. The magnificent city of Edinburgh with its numerous attractions is always a delight to explore.
