The attractive Victorian spa town of Harrogate, located at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is famous for its floral displays, tea shops, Turkish baths and antique shops, also as the home of magnificent flower shows. The Spring show is a premier event in the north’s horticultural calendar, Harrogate, a Britain in Bloom winner, presents a riot of springtime colour at its specially designed venue, the Great Yorkshire Showground. Highlights include a daffodil show, flower arranging demonstrations, plus exhibits and gardens by leading nurserymen.
ITINERARY
- Day One: Travel across the Pennines to Yorkshire and on to Harrogate for check in to the Holiday Inn Hotel. Afternoon at leisure to explore the town.
- Day Two: A full day at leisure with included admission to the show to see the glorious blaze of colour. A huge range of gardening accessories will also be on sale. The showground is hard-surfaced and mostly under cover providing a great day out whatever the weather!
- Day Three: We check out of the hotel and take a drive through some splendid scenery in the Yorkshire Dales, then continue on home to North Wales.
