Enjoy a summer bargain break to the popular holiday resort of Torquay and the 3 star Overmead Hotel featuring entertainment every night. Torquay is blessed with a superb panoramic setting overlooking Torbay and a wonderful climate that allows lovely sub tropical plants, flowers and palm trees to flourish. There is a fine sandy beach, a lovely palm lined promenade for that relaxing stroll, an international marina, plus waterfront boutiques and cafes that provide a distinct continental flavour.

Day One: We travel via the motorway network to the West Country, arriving in Torquay in the late afternoon for check in to the Overmead Hotel.
Day Two: A day at leisure to relax and explore Torquay, perhaps a visit to olde worlde Cockington village with its lovely gardens and delightful thatched cottages.
Day Three: Full day to the city of Plymouth with its many attractions including the old Barbican, Plymouth Hoe, the Aquarium, the naval dockyards and warships, plus the excellent new shopping centre.
Day Four: We visit nearby Paignton before continuing via historic Totnes to the lovely old port of Dartmouth.
Day Five: We depart after breakfast and begin our journey home arriving back in North Wales late afternoon.

Situated in a superb scenic location on the famous Daddy Hole plain, with two acres of grounds overlooking Meadfoot Beach and stunning views across Torbay. Facilities include an outdoor heated swimming pool, residents bar, quiet lounge, an entertainment room with bar and dance floor where entertainment is featured every night, plus the elegant Romanoff Restaurant with its fine sea views. All bedrooms have either bath or shower, telephone, television and tea / coffee tray. A lift is available to most rooms.

Please note the hotel is located on a hilltop however courtesy transport is available to and from the town centre at certain times of the day.
