A short break holiday specially arranged for single travellers with single room accommodation and no supplement charges. Accommodation provided will be in either a single room or a twin or double room for sole use with no additional charges.
A long weekend break to the delightful areas of the Thames Valley and the Chilterns based at Sunningdale Park, set in 65 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland near the famous Ascot Racecourse in the heart of Berkshire.
ITINERARY
- Day One: Travel south to the city of Oxford where we have some free time before continuing on to Sunningdale Park where we stay for three nights.
- Day Two: A day in the delightful Thames Valley, home to many celebrities and rich and famous people. We include visits to the picturesque riverside town of Marlow with its suspension bridge across the river dating from 1831, plus Henley on Thames, inextricably linked with the River Thames and famous for its annual Royal Regatta.
- Day Three: We head to the Chiltern Hills for a visit to Amersham with its half-timbered buildings and picturesque period cottages, famed for its wide selection of antique and craft shops, designer boutiques and coaching inns. Continue on to Aylesbury, the county town of Buckinghamshire famous for its ducks. A lively market town steeped in history with a charming conservation area and cobbled market square.
- Day Four: We depart after breakfast and return home to North Wales.
