See the Palace decorated with elegant displays of treasured yuletide traditions and in the Great Court Christmas trees will sparkle in the colonnades, offering visitors a truly magical experience. Inside the Palace glowing fires in the State Rooms will provide a warm welcome and each room will feature delightful festive displays.
ITINERARY
- Day One: We travel south to the outskirts of Oxford for our included visit to Blenheim Palace and the ‘Traditions of Christmas’. From here we continue on to the Mill & Old Swan Hotel at Minster Lovell.
- Day Two: A full day visit to Oxford, the ‘City Of Dreaming Spires’, a city of contrasts with a delightful blend of historic buildings, colleges and museums plus excellent modern facilities, famous the world over for its University.
- Day Three: A morning drive into the picturesque Cotswolds, a landscape of rolling hills and lovely honey-stoned villages. We visit Bourton on the Water, also known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ with its bridges crossing the River Windrush, then on to Broadway, famous for its antique shops. Depart for home mid afternoon.
