An early season break to the popular resort of Weymouth with its picturesque harbour and a wonderful sweep of Georgian sea-front houses. Attractions include the Sea Life Park, plus Brewers Quay, an imaginative redevelopment of the former Devenish Brewery and an innovative restoration of part of Weymouth's unique heritage. A host of features have been created among the original paved courtyards and alleys of the Victorian building including the award-winning Timewalk attraction, Weymouth Museum, a hands-on Science centre, and a unique indoor Shopping Village.
ITINERARY
- Day One: Travel to Weymouth and the Prince Regent Hotel where we stay for the next four nights.
- Day Two: A day at leisure to explore the attractions of the resort, maybe spend some time in the shopping centre or the specialist shops in Brewers Quay.
- Day Three: Today we drive along the Jurassic coast to the resort of Lyme Regis, with its delightful maze of narrow streets and interesting architecture, shops, galleries, pubs and cafes. In the afternoon we continue along the coast via Seaton to visit the Regency resort of Sidmouth.
- Day Four: Full day excursion visiting Poole, then on to the popular resort of Bournemouth, known as the ’Garden by the Sea’.
- Day Five: Depart after breakfast and begin our journey home, arriving back in North Wales late afternoon.
