Dating from the early 1800’s the popular holiday resort of Troon is situated on the beautiful Ayrshire coast of Scotland. Along with a variety of facilities on the esplanade Troon has an amazing seven golf courses, including the famous Royal Troon which regularly hosts the Open Championships. Ayrshire is also the gateway to some of Scotland’s finest Islands and this holiday includes visits to the Isle of Arran with its rugged and mountainous scenery, plus the quaint villages, lochs and sandy bays of the picturesque Isle of Bute.

- Full day to the Isle of Arran, travelling by ferry from the port of Ardrossan. Known as 'Scotland in miniature'. Arran is a fascinating and surprising island, it has an unrivalled range of landscapes, covering the whole spectrum of Scottish scenery. Enjoy a tour of the granite peaks and deep valleys in the north, the sandy bays around the coast, the heather-clad moorlands in the south, plus a visit to Brodick, the island’s principal town.
- Full day to the beautiful Isle of Bute. We take the ferry from nearby Wemyss Bay across to Rothesay, with its splendid Victorian frontage and the glorious esplanade gardens overlooking Rothesay Bay. Some time to explore then enjoy the views as we take a drive around the coastline of this lovely island.

- Short day commencing with a visit to the popular seaside resort of Ayr, famous for its connections with the poet Robert Burns. On then to visit the 18th century Culzean Castle, situated in 600 acres of woodland and formal gardens and perched on a rocky promontory with superb panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde.
