A visit to Royal Windsor where you can walk around an official residence of The Queen, the largest occupied castle in the world that has been a royal palace and fortress for over 900 years. We also visit the picturesque riverside towns of Henley on Thames and Marlow and spend a day in the famous Capital City of London with its numerous attractions
ITINERARY
- Day One: Travel south via the motorways and check in to the Bull Hotel at Gerrards Cross, our home for the next three nights.
- Day Two: A full day visit to Royal Windsor, an opportunity to explore Windsor itself, plus the famous Castle. Visitors can walk around the State Apartments and see the Drawings Gallery where regular exhibitions of treasures from the Royal Library are mounted, plus the Queen Mary's Dolls' House, a miniature mansion built to perfection. St. George's Chapel is the burial place of ten sovereigns, home of the Order of the Garter, and setting for many royal weddings.
- Day Three: We drive into the city of London for a tour of all the main city sights followed by free time for sightseeing or shopping, perhaps take a cruise on the Thames or a ride on the London Eye for a birds eye view of the Capital.
- Day Four: We check out this morning and visit the picturesque riverside town of Henley on Thames before commencing our journey home to North Wales.
