In a delightful riverside setting at the foot of thickly wooded hills lies one of Perthshire's gems - the cathedral town of Dunkeld. On the opposite bank of the River Tay is the Victorian village of Birnam. Together their beautifully restored buildings and rich heritage are an inspiration for lovers of history, the arts and the great green outdoors. Stroll by the mighty River Tay and absorb the beautiful, natural scenery where some of Scotland’s finest trout and salmon fishing can be enjoyed and maybe cross Thomas Telford's Bridge, which leads to the village of Birnam.
Dinner on Sunday night will feature traditional Scottish Fayre with Pipers and a live Ceileidh band to start your holiday in true ‘Scottish style’

- A full day commencing with a visit to Pitlochry, then on to see Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. The castle enjoys one of Scotland’s finest settings and also plays host to the ‘Atholl Highlanders’ Europe’s only remaining private army. (Admission included)
- A full day with a visit to the pretty village of Aberfoyle, then on to Loch Katrine for an optional trip on the steam driven cruiser, SS Sir Walter Scott. Return via the Tay Valley and the magnificent Falls of Dochart.

- A visit to the city of Dundee with its award winning attractions including the Verdant Works where you can step back into a Time Capsule of Yester -Year, then follow in the footsteps of Captain Scott aboard the RRS Discovery on his first expedition to the South Pole.
