Its two splendid bays are separated by the castle headland and a promenade runs along the cliff tops with the town being reached by Victorian Cliff Lifts. ITINERARY
- Day One: Travel across the Pennines into Yorkshire and on to the resort of Scarborough where we stay for the next four nights at the Esplanade Hotel.
- Day Two: A day at leisure at Scarborough. Optional visit to Castle Howard.

- Day Three: Full day to the fascinating medieval City of York with its numerous award winning museums and attractions, plus the spectacular Minster and the longest city walls in Britain
- Day Four: A full day excursion to the ancient port of Whitby, dominated by its cliff top abbey. Explore the quaint narrow streets and busy quayside of this delightful town. We return to Scarborough via the North Yorkshire Moors, setting for the Heartbeat television series.
- Day Five: Depart after breakfast for our return journey to North Wales.
