Amongst the most popular sights are the city’s superb castle, Llandaff cathedral, the iconic Millennium Stadium and the National Museum and Gallery with its outstanding collection of impressionist art.
ITINERARY
- Day One: Travel south to Cardiff for check in to the Holiday Inn Hotel where we stay for the next two nights. Time then to commence exploring the city.
- Day Two: A full day at leisure in the city with its many attractions. Keen shoppers will find some of the best and most varied shopping in the UK, with beautiful covered Victorian and Edwardian arcades, interesting markets and modern shopping centres. The innovative redevelopment of the Cardiff Bay area with its freshwater lake has added a new dimension to the city. Stroll along Mermaid Quay with its shops, bars and restaurants, plus attractions including the Millennium Centre, the Welsh Assembly building, Techniquest, plus the Red Dragon Centre and Dr Who exhibition.
- Day Three: A further morning at leisure, departure for home mid afternoon.
