Join us and spend four nights in a brand new hotel in Bantry, a busy little market town and fishing port in a wonderful setting overlooking Bantry Bay.
ITINERARY
- Day One: Early departure to Holyhead for the Stena HSS fast ferry to Ireland. Continue via Portlaoise and Cahir into County Cork and on to the Maritime Hotel at Bantry where we stay for the next four nights.
- Day Two: A day at leisure in Bantry, an opportunity to visit the historic Bantry House and Gardens, one of Ireland's most attractive Great Houses, full of treasures collected from all parts of the world by various generations of Earls of Bantry.
- Day Three: A full day excursion with spectacular scenery as we tour the Beara Peninsula, enjoy stunning vistas of the Caha Mountains and Bantry Bay as we travel from Glengarriff to Castletownbere, then on to Kenmare.
- Day Four: We take a drive along the coast to visit the colourful town of Clonakilty, then on to Kinsale with its narrow streets, shops, galleries, slate-clad houses and a beautiful natural harbour, also regarded as Ireland’s fine food capital with its numerous top class restaurants.
- Day Five: We return to Dun Laoghaire for the HSS sailing to Holyhead and on home to North Wales.
