This lovely unspoilt resort with its fine Regency architecture, elegant promenade and red sandstone cliffs overlooks the waters of Lyme Bay. EXCURSIONS INCLUDED
Full day commencing with a visit to Powderham Castle, the home of the Earl of Devon located in a beautiful Deer Park. Continue via Dawlish to Teignmouth, then an afternoon drive onto the Dartmoor National Park to visit Widecombe in the Moor.
Full day via Seaton to the historic seaside resort of Lyme Regis with its quaint narrow streets and harbour. On then to Bridport and West Bay, famous for its pier and as the setting for the TV series ‘Harbour Lights’.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION
Short day excursion via Budleigh Salterton to the popular resort of Exmouth. Boat trips on the River Exe estuary available.
