Enjoy a nostalgic day on the Severn Valley Railway where all the stations along the line go back to the time of World War II with vintage period vehicles on display and re-enactments. Windows are taped up, doors sandbagged and visitors also have the opportunity to dress in civilian or military period outfits. Highlights will include a big band show, over 30 military vehicles on show, 1940’s hairdressing demonstrations and archive news films. Don’t forget to listen out for the air raid siren and Spitfire and Lancaster bombers as they fly overhead.
