- We travel along the banks of the River Tweed to Melrose with an opportunity to visit Melrose Abbey. Continue through the Tweed Valley to Kelso with its picturesque square, then on to the historic Royal Burgh of Jedburgh whose attractions include the Castle Jail, Canongate Bridge, Mary Queen of Scots House and Jedburgh Abbey.
- The city of Edinburgh with its host of attractions such as the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the famous Edinburgh Castle, the historic Royal Mile and the 17th century warrens of the Old Town, beautiful parks and gardens, plus the excellent shopping.
- A visit to Peebles and its Thursday market, then on to New Lanark the New Lanark World Heritage Site, a restored 18th century cotton-mill village. One of Scotland’s top attractions where the fascinating history of the village is brought back to life in an award-winning Visitor Centre.
