The ‘Magical Kingdom of Kerry', one of Ireland's most stunning and breathtaking regions, located on the shores of the mighty Atlantic Ocean. Tralee is the county town of Kerry and one of Ireland’s premier visitor destinations. The town sits in the shelter of Tralee bay, with a panorama of sea and mountains and is ideally located close to some of Ireland’s finest scenery, the famous Lakes of Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Penninsula.
ITINERARY
- Day One: Early departure to Holyhead for the Stena HSS fast ferry sailing to Dun Laoghaire. Continue via Portlaoise and Limerick to Tralee for four nights at the Earl of Desmond Hotel.
- Day Two: A day at leisure to explore Tralee and its attractions that include the Geraldine Museum where the sights and sounds of medieval Tralee are recreated. Walk through the streets, houses, abbey and castle of medieval Tralee with special effects that make this an almost life-like experience.
- Day Three: A full day excursion around the lovely Dingle Peninsula, one of the most unspoilt and natural coastlines in Ireland, the setting for the famous film ‘Ryans Daughter’
- Day Four: A visit the popular tourist town of Killarney and drive into the Killarney National Park and around the spectacular Ring of Kerry.
- Day Five: We return to Dun Laoghaire for the Stena HSS sailing to Holyhead and home to North Wales.
