Stroll along the new-look beachfront and boardwalk with its Artists’ Quarter and Fishing Museum which celebrates the resort’s history as a fishing town. Explore the quaint old town, the Victorian Palace Pier, the lovely parks and gardens and the ancient Lanes with their fascinating boutiques and numerous antique shops, or take a ride on England’s oldest electric railway to the marina.

- Half day visit to Royal Tunbridge Wells with its delightful colonnaded walkway known as The Pantiles, home to a variety of small specialist shops, antique shops and open-air cafés. The Spring situated at the northern end of the Pantiles still flows, and the reputedly health-giving water is served in the summer months by a traditional 'Dipper'.
