The delightful island of Jersey is located some 100 miles south of mainland Britain and just 14 miles from the coast of France. Jersey's landscape and the character of its people are forged by centuries of battles, exploration, struggle and reinvention, leaving behind a unique legacy of history, culture and heritage. Clear water and beaches surround some 45 miles of coastline with sweeping bays in the south giving way to dramatic cliffs in the north, offering spectacular scenery and stunning vistas. There’s an abundance of historical sights including Martello Towers, Medieval Castles and war bunkers. The island’s capital town of St Helier has plenty to interest with museums, galleries, lovely parks and gardens, plus an excellent choice of entertainment. The absence of VAT is also a distinct bonus when it comes to exploring the excellent choice of shops.

ITINERARY

• Saturday: A pick up from your home and transfer to Liverpool Airport for the outward flight with to Jersey with Flybe Airlines, flight time approximately just one and a half hours. On arrival at St Helier you will be met by you resort representative and transferred to your chosen hotel.
• During your stay: Your representative will be happy to arrange any car hire requirements or excursions you may wish to take. A wide choice of full and half day tours are available such as:
• All Day Island Tour - includes St. Brelade's Bay, Corbiere Lighthouse, St. Ouen's Bay, Greve de Lecq, the Northern Coastline and Gorey Harbour. Also includes visits to Living Legend's Jersey Experience and the Craft & Village Centre - one of the Island's top tourist attractions.
• The War Tunnels - the true story of the Occupation of Jersey during World War II. Walk along the very tunnels which were trodden on by the German soldiers and discover what Jersey life was like during those dark days of the occupation.
• Many other excursions are available plus visits to the islands of Guernsey and Sark, or to mainland France. (Passport required for excursions to France).
• Saturday: Return transfer from the hotel to the airport for the flight back to Liverpool and onward transfer back to your home.
