Chester is regarded as one of the most attractive cities in the United Kingdom with a history dating back to the Romans. The famous Rows, unique two-tiered galleries built in the traditional black and white ‘magpie’ style contain a wide range of shops selling goods from antiques to high fashion. In fact the city is one of the top retail centres in the UK, boasting large branches of national stores and attractive shopping malls.

Enjoy the New Year Celebrations at the Crowne Plaza Hotel with a Gala Dinner and entertainment to welcome in 2009.

ITINERARY

• Day One: Travel to Chester for check-in to the Crowne Plaza Hotel where we commence our New Year Break. Some free time in the afternoon, then this evening enjoy a Carvery dinner in the Silks Restaurant, followed by entertainment at the hotel, or perhaps you may wish to sample some of the ‘Chester nightlife‘.
• Day Two: New Years Eve - A day at leisure for shopping or sightseeing. For those who wish to join in a guided walking tour of the city is included. This evening a Gala Dinner will be served in the hotel’s main suite with your Host Dave Lloyd and musical entertainment from the band ’Perfect 10’ to welcome in the New Year.
• Day Three: New Years Day - A further day at leisure to relax and remember the night before or maybe seek out some bargains in the the New Year Sales. Optional afternoon excursion to Nantwich to visit the Stapeley Water Gardens and Palms Tropical Oasis. (Admission payable). Evening Carvery dinner followed by further entertainment.
• Day Four: Following a leisurely breakfast we check out from the hotel mid-morning and board the coach for a drive across the Denbigh Moors to Betws y Coed where there will be some free time to have lunch before continuing on home.
