Southport Flower Show

The elegant resort of Southport, renowned for its tree-lined boulevards, floral displays and pavement cafes. Charming Lord Street, with its glass-canopied shops and the Wayfarer’s Arcade, is home to a superb range of specialist shops, high street names and department stores. The Seafront incorporates a variety of parks and gardens including one of the largest marine lakes in the country where you can enjoy a relaxing walk.

Day One: We depart from our local area and head for Southport, where the remainder of the day is then free to commence exploring the resort and visit the flower show. Now in its 79th year the show is one of the largest, most diverse and friendliest in the country. We travel from Southport late afternoon to our hotel at Manchester. This evening enjoy an included dinner at the hotel.
Day Two: After a leisurely breakfast we depart the hotel and travel back into Southport for more free time to enjoy the flower show. The magnificent Grand Floral Marquee is 75,000 sq. ft. of tentage and houses hundreds of beautiful displays by professional exhibitors from all over the country. You don’t have to be an avid gardener to enjoy this event the show has something for everyone. We travel home to North Wales late afternoon.
